I see the two cases as being very different in nature.
How often do you eat MREs? What's your favorite?

Not often...only when I deploy (which I haven't done since I arrived
at Keesler, for obvious reasons).

First off, I would say that the new MREs are FAR, FAR superior to the
old MREs. A vast world of difference. Now that that's out of the
way...

(and remember...I don't like anything spicier than butter <grin>...so
I didn't really look for variety, but rather "what I know I like")

I remember the turkey meal being the one I always looked for first. I
also remember liking one that was chicken and pasta or something like
that.

Just out of curiousity...how does this follow from my conversation
regarding following orders?

It doesn't. But then, I get sick as hell of political rants, and I enjoy
talking about food. I also love turkey.

I realized something was terribly wrong with that link when I clicked
"recipes".

I eat MRE's about as often as I eat dog-crap <G>. Seriously, they're
ok for what they're designed for. But you have a lot cheaper, better
choices these days for substitues for the ole MRE. I guess if you're
stricken with the "runs", they could be helpfull. Kinda like swilling
a concrete milkshake.

Oh, no. And here I always thought Tobasco was a food group of it's
own. I practically live on the stuff.
