Sad to say, these side groups often kill off the original.

Do you think Karl Dorrell's going to be able to get them to the next tier

Um...there's little doubt in my mind, that with a little effort, RSFC
could take out Vijay's puny moderated group with a modicum of effort.

Overall, I'm big on just ignoring threads I don't care about - doesn't

Nowadays some people make their own rules and it encourages others to
do the same. Ignoring posts in which you have no interest is a lot
smarter than filtering them - everyone says something worth reading
some time.

One must adopt the attitude that all is a game of one-upmanship - you
win some and you lose some. RSFC is not about reality, it's about a
few moments diversion each day.

Besides, right or wrong, I get the sense that very few here have
really accomplished anything with their lives at work, at home or in
any leadership position. Most appear to be living from day to day with
little future. But they get off some great one-liners.

You and I have different definitions of "slumming", I do believe. I
don't go "slumming" in a place I frequent - it carries a connotation
of infrequency. In addition, I wouldn't go to a place I considered a
"slum" on a daily basis - particularly by "choice". However, if one
considers himself a denizen of the "slums", then I can see where it
might be an occurence of high frequency.

Hey, smart guy.. it's not making fun of your name so much as it is
making light of your character (or lack thereof). Your posting
represents the lowest common denominator, most of the time, particularly
when you're posting images of underage teenage girls.

As for my last name, what have you got to say about it that you think I
haven't already heard a hundred times? I'm proud of my last name, for
reasons you probably aren't even capable of understanding.

I merely asked a question and made an observation. I didn't define
slumming. You're pretty good at twisting words so you can jump to your
own conclusion and make yourself appear intelligent. And, yes, I'm
pretty good at changing the subject slightly knowing you won't catch
it.

I disagree with definition by frequency - some fine people spend most
of their lives working in the slums. Try again.

You obviously have a much higher perception of yourself than I do of
you but I've had more experience with higher quality people than you
so your opinion carries very little weight.

Why thank you - but the compliment is not needed - for all I was
trying to do was point out, like I said, that you and I probably have
differing definitions of "slumming".
I disagree with definition by frequency - some fine people spend most>of their lives working in the slums.

Hmmm - more disagreement about "slumming". Working in the "slums" !=
recreational "slumming". YMMV. For instance, were one to dedicate
themselves to working in an inner city school, would feel this to
carry the same connotation as my visiting Alabama?

I don't know anything about inner city schools except as reported by
the media. If you visited AL, AL would be slumming.
