I hate you.

They should have watched the WVU game and took notes on how not to blow a
double-digit lead in the last 3 minutes.

Still, an amazing day of basketball.

Raising the rim would not help the small guys. It would help the taller
guys. Want to help the little guys? You gotta bring down the ball and that
would happen if the basket was at 9 feet. Of course that would completely
f*** up the sport so it is stupid.

But I could dunk if the rim were only nine feet. As it is, the best I
have ever done is to slam the ball sideways into the rim and have it
bounce somewhere behind me.

That's the point. Bring the rim down and it becomes everyone's game. Raise
the rim and the premium on height is increased. Back in the day I could
rise and jam it with two hands. (I am under 6 feet). Nowadays in my
middleagedneth I am afraid of what would happen to my legs if I even tried
to get up there.

Patent expired. Basic hook shot is now public domain. Player assumes all
risk. For a comprehensive list of more royalty-free basketball shots, go

9.8 meters per second squared, Homer. It's not just a good idea -- it's
the LAW.
