I haven't seen Spy Kids, but all of Robert Rodriguez's works have been
awesome. (El Mariachi, Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Dawn til
Dusk).

I'm hopeful.

Ditto.

It looks very interesting, and visually pleasing.

Looks like a video game to me, but its still on my list. The good part
is that my wife wants to see it. She's so cool.

It's Robert Rodriguez, who mad SURE Frank Miller was invovled, as well
as Quentin Tarantino directed a segment of it.

i can't believe that it can live up to the trailer.

btw, the comic books are awesome! and it's amazing to see some scenes
that looks just like the panels from the books...

I've seen several trailers, some more intense than others. The first one
I saw was on SciFi. Intense. Then later I saw one on one of the regular
networks. Good, but not as intense. Since then I've seen variations of
these two.

He kinda had to. Frank wasn't selling the property to any Hollywood types
until he was SURE that is wouldn't be "Robocop 2'd".

See the excellent article in this month's WIRED.

I guess the whole movie was shot in front of a green screen and the 'sets'
were digitally added later. That was the only way they could get the look
right.

I never caught the ink and paper version. I'll look for them.

swan...@auburn.edu is in it to win it like Yzerman:

Me too. I like film noir and this looks like film
noir on roids. Futhermore, I am not ashamed to
admit that I believe that Bruce Willis is interesting
in all of his movies.

They are already filming "Sin City II."
