Deer Eggman..

..could you possibly inform the younger generation of purples that
driving 45 mph on a wet street is a REALLY BAD TIME to take your eye
off the road? Because maybe the car in front is going to slow down
and turn on to a side street, and you might want to be aware of that.

My car is pretty messed up. Stoopid girls in KSU sweatshirts and
their big pickup trucks.

The rain wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't so many Bucknell tears.

It must be heartwarming to know that so many on RSFC are
concerned about any injuries from which you may be
suffering.

We assume that if the first thing he thought to do upon arriving home is to
inform rsfc that he'd been rear-ended by HAWT COWLEDGE CHYX, he must not be
suffering very much.

No. I am a right-thinking defensive driver who would never, ever talk
on his cell phone while driving.

At least not for that particular hour of my life.

Oh. Well then, now that it's been established you're mostly okay, just call
those chyx and remind them that they're KStaters so daddy isn't going to buy
'em another car just cause they smash theirs up in the rain.

Unless, maybe, they tell Daddy they hit a Jayhawk. Best to tell 'em you're a
'Roo.

Just as Overland Park's finest was finishing up his accident-related
duties, the KSU Chyx Mama pulled up. In a Mercedes, with a Powercat
plate on the front.

Frankly, I'm having some cognitive dissonance over that.

You okay?

After the time two years ago I wound up getting my car totalled in an
accident for which I was about 50% at fault, I kept having ugly flashbacks
whenever I found myself in a similar situation (making a left turn across
traffic). Not fun.
