Just got back from Hollywood. The Ambassador's Son was optioned by a major studio. Thank you. That's not the news. I was at a party and a director was being toasted because his new movie had just been green lit. I asked him later what it was about and he said "college football." I was naturally stunned since I was thinking about writing a script about c-f according to the wishes of my brother. And so I asked him who was in it and he said, "My coach is going to be Richard Gere." That's right. That's what he said.
That's all I know except it starts shooting in May. Keep googling Richard Gere and eventually somebody will tell us more.

Actually, I could see Richard Gere playing The Glen Freaking Mason.

Are you sure the movie plot wasn't going to be about a former Gator quarterback who goes on this reality show where a bunch of wimmins falls all over him?
