James to Miami? Makes a lot of sense - could have some interesting draft ripple effects - would Indy take Miami's #1? Would the Fins give it? Who would Indy take with that pick?

They should send him to Houston. A trade to an in-division rival (of sorts) would demonstrate that Polian's completely jumped the shark.
Polian is still in Indy, right? I'm four sheets to the wind, I have no idea what I'm talking about.

no way would James merit a first round pick like that. Randy moss was worth basically just a #7, and Moss's talents are a lot more special than edge's.

Indy is willing to take a 2nd for James. Buffalo is willing to take a 2nd for Henry. Seattle is willing to take a 2nd for Shaun Alexander.
but there seem to be no takers. Miami could take Ronnie Brown in the draft. the question is will an almost-30 yo Edge (who admittedly only plays for the $$$) plus (say) Aaron Rodgers be better than Ronnie Brown and (say) Thomas Davis.
Raiders paid the bucks for Lamont Jordan.
Tampa still might be interestd or they might take Cadillac (who apparently Jon Gruden likes best).
