Why no photos of the latest Lebanese protest?

PrinceGunter 8 March 2005 23:21:44

Because between 0.5 and 1.5 million people thronged to the streets in
support of Syria.

If people did that they'd have to look into the way both America and
Israel have used Syria in the past. And that might mean catching a
glimpse of W's cynicism here.

No. Better have no images.

That particular contradiction did make me laugh. I guess some
foreigners are more foreign than others.

However, the fact that Hezbollah is sponsoring pro-Syria demonstrations
does put the lie to the idea that Hezbollah is the party that stands to
gain the most from a Syrian pullout though.

You're part of the problem.

My point was that this is not confined to liberals, as some of you
wingnuts like to imagine. Twice yesterday, Rogers identified someone
with whom he had some political-philosophy disagreement as either
terrorist or pro-Syrian. "You and your terrorist buddies...", etc.

And I had the pleasure of reading in my local paper yesterday that
liberalism is "a mental disease." What next, camps?

The fact that I have no problem dealing it right back should be of no
concern to you.

I put the whole fucking quote back in because you whined about my

about it. Believe whatever you want, though.
