I noticed your booktour has a decidedly East Coast Bias. Are you
ascairt to cross the Mississippi or something?

How do you prefer your martini, Mr. nudan92@yahoo.com? Shaken, or stirred?

I'd swear that "Torpedo Junction" had a couple of mentions of U-Boats in
the Gulf.

Thanks, Dan. Not ascairt and if it had been up to me, I'd have been in
lots of places out west. But the publisher makes up the tour and
that's what it came up with, go figure.

Too bad. If you ever come to Lincoln, Nebraska I have a friend who
would love to meet you. He eats, sleeps and drinks rocketry. I don't
really get in to it, but I get a kick out of watching the launches in
Pickrell, especially when someone brings out the M motor. It's amazing
how much fun you can have when you get clearance from the FAA.

"M" motor? You haven't met the Gates brothers, have you? Doods built a
rocket that had 6 N's and a P...

No friggin joke. They got a bowling ball up to 29000 feet.... and their
launch report seems to imply that one of them rigged the thing without
anyone else's knowledge to releas said bowling ball at the apogee with a
parachute all to itself(and the nose-cone). Thing took something like 18
minutes to land. They seem to have not paid their web hosting fees,
howevr, and their domain is down. I kind of want to show up at LDRS this
year, though...

Are you surprised that people who would surreptitiously launch a bowling
ball 5 miles up would not pay their web bills?

Still, I'd buy 'em a beer at any place they'd show...

I would venture to guess they'll take you up on this at the local pubs of
Lethbridge, Alberta come July 14th-19th this year.

He would be disappointed with me. I have zero interest in rockets. I
kind of did that and am way over it. Other than writing, the things
that interests me most are paleontology and scuba diving.

Are books legal west of the Mississippi yet?

He'd still pee his pants.
