I only have one more thing to say about Homer Hickam

After having seen the photos of Homer and his lovely wife, Linda, on his website, it is quite clear that Homer (among others to be found right here in this here chatroom) successfully out-punted his coverage.
Way to go, Homer!

"Subordination is the natural order: there is subordination in Heaven - Thrones and Dominions take precendence over Powers and Principalities, Archangels and ordinary foremast angels; and so it is in the Navy. You have come to the wrong shop for anarchy, brother."
Thank you. Linda's also a scuba instructor and that's how we met. Two of her brothers went to Auburn, two to Alabama so she divides her loyalty (she graduated from UAH). We've provided a number of scholarships for students at Virginia Tech so she's allowed herself to become something of a Hokie, too. We went up to Blacksburg for my 40th reunion last fall and she really enjoyed watching Tech play. They won, too, which was nice.

Well, WVU has offered me an honorary PhD which is more than I can say for Va. Tech. This may be because Tech has access to my grade transcripts. I stayed on academic probation most of the time. Hey, I had a cannon to build!
