This article was pretty good. It talks about the American POWs back in WWII that were sent to a Concentration Camp. It's a long read, but worth it. Have a look.

I have read many, many books and articles on POWs in World War II, but>> I'd somehow escaped reading about that. I'm sick.>
Yeah, what those guys went through is unimaginable.
Of course, I'm also sick every time I read about what the Jews and other concentration camp inmates went through.
It's the sort of insane groupthink, that large masses of people can sometimes get in their heads that doing this to fellow humans is an A-OK idea, that really makes me despair of the human race.

Its that insane groupthink that allows these people to decide that fellow human being AREN'T fellow human beings. It's as old as man and just as depressing.

There was actually a PBS documentary on it that was very>> interesting (as well as a show on the History/Discovery/etc.>> channel).>
I saw it, very interesting. I'd like to see something similar> about American POWs from WWII, Korea and Vietnam being held in> the Soviet Union. Not much info on that out there yet.
There is still a lot of interesting info coming out now that the Soviet archives have been opened. The whole we have Hitlers remains, and Trojan gold stories were pretty suprising. I'm sure there will be a continuous stream of history revision coming as those archives are studied.
