Seriously, without wingnuts from both sides posting links to blogs in> RSFC, I would have never known about blogs.>
At first I thought this was nail.hit.head, but upon further reflection I'm not so sure. Blogs may be more relevant than you think because reporters and editorializers from both sides of the fence may rely heavily on them as uncredited sources of facts and guides to where to go to find info. If the latter is true, since it's uncredited, it would be hard to know if correct.
Blogs certainly led the charge to discrediting Dan Rather's TANG story. There are a lot of stories that were in blogs before they were in the mainstream press. Not sure if it's cause and effect or not.
