No, Hugh, it isn't... that's just your knee-jerk response to being >>accurately labeled a bigot.
You have made some ignorant statements on rsfc but that ranks with any>of them although I don't disagree with the label. >I am surprised that you can't comprehend the definition of bigot "one>intolerantly devoted to his or her own prejudices or opinions". On>average you make about as many very strong statement of opinion as>anyone on rsfc - and you are taken down about as often as anybody for>them. Apparently you're not, since Bryan HAS changed his opinion, in several instances I can think of, in this newsgroup.
Some people do try to make the term a real downer and slur but that is>simply because they are not sufficiently erudite to comprehend the>definition of the term. Those who comprehend treat it as any other>patently obvious fact.
You clearly do not comprehend the definition of "bigot". You keep repeating it, but you fail to understand.
You even discarded the sig "Slick" in favor of "Onyx Hokie". That in>itself says that you are devoted to the school - intolerantly devoted>might be an overstatement to a few people here but probably not all.
This is just moronic.
If you didn't attend VAT your support has no basis other than>prejudice for the school as opposed to all other schools. If you>attended loyalty provides a basis.>The point is clear enough that I probably will not need to educate you>further on the matter.
The point being that Hugh Sullivan does not comprehend what bigotry is. And you're right...you've certainly shown us a fine example.

You keep saying this, but that doesn't make it true. Everyone is NOT>>>>a bigot. Everyone is BIASED. There is a tremendous difference>>>>between the two terms.

That doesn't even make sense. Try again, bigot.
It takes a little more education than you have to comprehend - a GED>maybe.
Then you should run out and get that GED, because you clearly don't comprehend it.

I would agree with that. Then again, my time down here in Mississippi> is probably why.
I lived in Mississippi in metro New Orleans for several years (nearly a decade), and I think it sounds like a perfectly fine term in context, in place, and it's a bunch of out of town whiners who are making a big deal out of it. And Saban has maken his own case worse with his apology to uat fans.
It was occasionally a mildly annoying term to those targeted, on the order of "redneck" or sometimes "trailer trash." I reckon he's recruiting a coonass now, or he wouldn't have apologized. There may be a bama player with a French name soon.

I don't have a choice, John. He ordered me to "Keep trying, Hugh."
As soon as I accuse him of ogling a male derriere with osculatory intent he starts fawning over a guy he castigated not too many days before. C'est la vie.
And I'm sure "...had it in'ya..." had nothing to do with carnal knowledge.
