I've got another owner who's very happy with his WRs (Boldin, Berrian, R.Brown, Reg.Williams, L.Evans). He considers L.Evans his #5 WR, and might be right...as of today. I've got Randy Moss, who is killing me on a weekly basis, sucking the fantasy life out of my team. I'm quite certain that this guy would be willing to swap Evans for Moss straight up, based on nothing other than Moss' potential.
I've noticed that Evans has been really stepping it up the last three games (8-107, 7-90, and 9-94-1). Is it worth it to give up on Moss for Evans, who may be inching closer to "weekly start" territory? How bitter am I going to be if A.Walter or A.Brooks (or Jay Schroeder or Jeff George or whatever QB they try next) pulls something together and makes Moss worthwhile down the line? Chances seem slim. Is this trade over the top??? Should I take the semi-valuable player for Moss and run?
[My other WRs are a broken Roy Williams, Driver, and a recently bought-on-the-cheap T.Owens. Start 2-3 each week (flex position).] Also, does having Willis McGahee as a weekly starter affect this decision for my team? I've never tried starting a RB and WR from the same team on a regular basis. Can this work if the team isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut (like the Bills), but both players are solid?

Thanks for any input...>

I would do it in a heartbeat. I don't think you'll get many other opportunities to unload Moss, and I'm pretty sure the wind is almost competely out of his sails. Whenever there is any life at all in the Bills passing game, Evans seems to be a big part of it. At least he will be useful and has some upside. I'm about 95% sure you can stick a fork in Moss.
As for starting McGahee and Evans, look for patterns in their box scores over the past five games. You obviously don't want a situation where one does well at the expense of the other. The patterns I see depend on where they play. At home, so far they have both done well in both games. On the road, only one of them does. Of those road games, the Bills tend to attack the opponent's defense (not surprisingly) at the weakest point (through the air against the Bears, and on the ground and dump passes against the Pats and Fins). So, you may have to take one or the other out on occasion for road games, it seems. They aren't Edge and Harrison after all, but you ought to be solid with both if you play those matchups correctly.

Maybe the Raiders can pull Todd Marinovich or Ryan Leaf out of retirement. They would probably play for minimum and couldn't be much worse, could they?
