As near as we can tell, it was on 3/23/2005 10:59 AM when Jbob
transmitted as follows:
Jeesh and to top that they (JJ/JG) aren't getting the 25 points back. > WTF!!! >
In other words....you broke the rules, but we can't prove you
intentionally did it, therefore we'll maintain the fine and points
penalties applied by summary conviction, and reduce the discretionary
penalty of suspension to probation.

Seems logical, just, correct and fair.

They shouldn't get the points back; they cheated! You watch Berrier will not
get his suspension dropped. At least he had the guts to admit he did
something, and his issue was during qualifying not during the race.

This is Hendricks year, because whether or not JJ's crewchief did fudge the
rules, JJ can plainly drive the crap out of a car. Knause is a very good
crewchief.

Hopefully anyone else wins but 24 or 48!

Go 8,12,17,20, and 97.
#3 the Intimitator will always be #1.

glad they figured out how to follow through on that threat.

Well, it wasn't NASCAR that over-ruled. They have a process in place to keep
things fair and balanced.

Sorry to say but it was Nascar who over ruled the suspensions.

You are wrong. It is outside business men. Nascar, Jim Darby, pleads Nascar
side and the team pleades theres. VERY rarely do they overturn what Nascar
directs. In this case they did.

Wrong. NASCAR has a rulebook that sometimes keeps things "fair and
balanced". Helton and France need to do away with the panel altogether.

Per the NASCAR site it reads; The National Stock Car Racing Commission
rescinded the two-race suspensions NASCAR had levied against Chad Knaus and
Alan Gustafson, and instead placed both on 90 days probation.
It seems like Nascar over ruled itself on this one, but then it was for the
Hendricks team after all.

Two different entities. The NSCRC is a 3 man panel the article also
reads.
