That is according to David Coulthard. VilleneuveВ’s first season in Sauber has been a trying one for the 1997 World Champion who has not only failed to score a single point but has also been outperformed by his less experienced team-mate Felipe Massa. Rumours have already started about Sauber wanting to replace Villeneuve with BAR test driver Anthony Davidson and if his season doesnВ’t vastly improve soon, Coulthard says they may become more than just rumours. "Jacques is having a difficult time so far this season at Sauber," Coulthard told the Scottish newspaper The Daily Record. "Two races in and already the media are questioning if he will keep his seat. That cannot help things." "I know he is capable of great things but unless we see a marked improvement by Imola it wouldn't surprise me to see him walk away or be encouraged to do so."

I can almost see David Coulthard grinning from ear to ear, ok he doesn't want to lose his best friend but friendship only stretches so far, especially when your out of a job at the end of the year, and a vacant seat could be wating at Sauber for next year.
