Jaysyus, you haven't done yourself an injury falling off the bandwagon?
Have you?

And if they took it to the next race, at least they would get REAL data for
the tyres instead of the ones they are getting / got for the modded 2004.
Oh, and if it's true what they say, the 2005 wil be kinder to the tyres
too.

One wonders whether complacency or conservatism is to blame. Either way,
you're right.

...and it's gonna need at least a full second a lap, plus *much* better
tyre management. Did you see just how bald the rear Bridgestones were
late in the race?

I think maybe their decision to just let Rubens park it is an
acknowledgement of this statement.

I think the issue might be less severe, but still evident. Neither the
soft nor hard compound brought by Bridgestone had pace - and the soft
one wasn't even capable of completing the race.

As with recovering from any addiction the first step is admitting there
is a problem. Congratulations Mark. ;-)

eh?

Make that 2003, and the F2002, and instead of dominant, make that "up
there" - the F2002 did win the 4th round in 2003, and did better than
the F2004M has done so far. I will write 100 times, "I must look at
GLIBS before claiming to accurately remember race results"...

Certainly much of Ferrari's pain must be due to the tires. (?)
B-stone has a long ways to go, but ~1/2 sec per lap compound
improvements are common.

What we're seeing now is similar to what was going on in '03 when
b-stones were not as strong. Then they simply changed the rule book and
put Ferrari back on top.
Can't wait to see what excuse they come up with if Ferrari isn't back on
top by Imola.
