Dan Wheldon was in just the right position at the right time, slingshotting
past Danica Patrick with less than ten laps to go and winning the 89th
Indianapolis 500 Mile Race over Vitor Meira and Bryan Herta.

Wheldon started the race in 16th and slowly worked his way into contention,
much as he's done for the balance of this early season. With tears in is
eyes Wheldon proclaimed, "This is a dream come true; this is the best race
in the world!"
