Senna: DVD of the Week

DVD of the week
Tribute to Ayrton Senna, 1960-94, EMI, £19.99

LIKE it or not, the prospect of death and injury hangs like a shadow over
all those involved in motorsport. It is beyond doubt that Formula One is
safer than it has ever been, but it took the death of a legend to get here.
When Ayrton Senna lost his life at Imola in 1994, there was a sense of
disbelief that such a wonderful driver had died at the wheel of a car.

Many who follow F1 today have grown up watching Michael Schumacher
accelerate away from his rivals. Senna was a racer. A real racer. Of course
he was helped by the fact that he usually drove the best car on the grid,
but the Brazilian could get the best out of whatever car he drove. If you
never saw him in his prime, this tribute will give you some idea of what you
missed, as well as an introduction to a few of his rivals - Nigel Mansell,
Alain Prost and Niki Lauda, to name but a few. Senna had a presence and an
aura; he was revered by teammates and rivals alike and was a national hero
in Brazil. This double DVD set provides an insight into why that was the
case

Running time: 190min

Article is from March 13, 2005 but the release date according to Amazon UK
is April 2004. I guess this is old news. Where I can buy the NTSC version
in the USA?

This all sounds well and good, but does it come with an Ayrton
Senna phone card?
