Even tho one of the reasons i have an affinity to Cup racin / drivers
cuz they freely express their faith, I have some doubt that the majority
of them will celebrate The Most Important Day of Christianity.

We will never get an investigative reporter to report to the fans
of how 'I spent my Easter Vacation', but it could be very enlightening, eh?

well, I have no problem grabbing third rails. the secret is all in the
grounding.

absolutely. especially as NASCAR strives so hard to have every driver
project that squeaky clean NASCAR driver image. but the drivers are
free, and rightly so, to do as they please on raceless weekend(s).

anyway I know the real reason they don't run on Easter is because the
rest of us are distracted by other things (like eating too much candy),
so it makes sense to save those TV ratings for another time. ;-)

p.s. Cru, I am hugely impressed, but I guess not that surprised, that
you know that Christmas is the NBS race of Christianity and not its Cup
race.

Well Mark Martin and a few others are going to be here at a big blow out for
his retirement year / ford dealership / museum project/ whatever. I think
Rusty is even going to be one of the ones causing people to try to park in
my yard. I can see his dealership from my house, it's about a block to it,
but these fan days drive me up the walls. Backs up traffic for 2 miles both
directions, thousands of people parking and blocking the side streets. Last
one he had a few months ago, I saw on guy pushing another guy in a
wheelchair about 5 blocks from the dealership... and there are no side
walks, it's hilly, and he was having to push him through what was basically
a grown up field. now THAT is the die-hard fan base.

Michael

Mikey isn't racing? I assumed that he would be running the Aaron's car and
only handing over the duties when it was very difficult to be in two
different areas on the same weekend. I don't count Mikey as a BW anyway as
it is an independently owned team completely away from his Nextel ride. I
can also understand Carl as he is running a full season and is just now
really entering the Nextel arena. Now Marlin or McMurry, naw, they need to
say out of there just like some of the others like Martin or DE or JJ etc.

Funny that none of u took the bet that 1 of the 5 Whackers (including Carl)
would NOT win Nashville NBS race.

I am awaiting Jayski's answer about if a Busch team doesn't attempt all the
races of '05, then they can never qualify for a 'Top30 Guarantee'.
IF that's so, it seems to me there will always be less than 30 teams who
can conform to N's latest rules. Which may mean even more BWs can get in.
