Germans hate 'bad loser schu'

Otekopf 8 March 2005 17:11:48
Michael Schumacher did not emerge from Sunday's clash with young compatriot
Nick Heidfeld smelling like a rose. German daily Bild asked: "Why is he such
a bad ... loser?"
The newspaper pointed out that at least twice in the past, at Adelaide in
1994 and Jerez (1997), the world champion seemed more intent on collision,
than to cede a competitor's quest to overtake. "Rambo Schumi," read the Bild
headline. "He offered Heidfeld no apology."

Another German newspaper, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, said the
country's seven time title winner 'has no conscience.'

In thinking for myself, I find it to be the perfect example of Pavlovian
conditioning and reflex. Willi Webber has obviously taken Michael out to the
track and had a slew of drivers try to pass him. When the pass is initiated, an
electric shock is administered to Schumacher, who then turns into the passing
car and recieves a treat of strudel.

We have seen this example executed too many times before to ignore its obvious
origin. My dog comes running when his bowl is moved -- Schumacher turns into an
overtaking car.

ROTFLMAO.

Well done.

OK, how about, he was having a crap race, he needed an excuse to park
the car to get his fresh engine for the next race, and Heidfeld gave him
a neat chance both to do that and to warn Heidfeld not to try overtaking
him.

On the other hand, it would also be good for the sport to see him beaten
fair and square before he retires. Otherwise, whoever wins the first
championship after he goes, there will always be those who argue that
they only won it because MS wasn't there.

Some would argue MS is only winning because Senna isn't around.

Senna would be more than a little old for F1 these days. In fact, he would
have been 45 this Monday.

Unlikely. They were both dirty drivers, so they would have taken each
other out.

Leaving Prost to pick up the win, as ever.
