I was reading my latest issue of DirecTV mag and found that they have a new
channel (101) for exclusive programming.
They will broadcast two exclusive NASCAR specials back to back regarding
the Daytona 500.
The first, "The Champions" airs on Friday, Feb 8 at 5:00p EST and is
rebroadcast at 8:00p and 11:00p.
The second, "The Legacy" airs on Friday, Feb 8 at 6:00p EST and is
rebroadcast at 9:00p and 12:00a
I watched both and IMHO the second "The Legacy" was far better. It consisted of a round table discussion amongst many of the previous winners of the 500 from Marvin Panch to Mikey Waltrip. It was interseting to hear them reminisce and compare note from their various eras. There was a lot of teasing going on amongst the drivers of the same era too! Hopefully, Speed or ESPN will broadcast it sometime so non-DirecTV viewers can watch it... it was worthwhile.

I had seen something similar to "The Legacy" before - so it didn't interest me all that much. Actually, I liked the Nascar in 30 Seconds special on making commercials. LOL.
