Simon Marshall, Panoz chief designer took a bit of time out of his busy schedule during the month of May to give our Motorsport.com viewers a peek of what it takes for a chassis manufacturer to prepare for the Indianapolis 500.
To ready for the month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is not a simple task for teams or manufacturers. "For this particular race, we started preparing for it two and one-half years ago," explained Marshall. "We still were going to run the same chassis, but with an updated kit that the teams would need. Everything was laid out back then."
