 The Hantz 200 Sunday, May 22 at Toledo Speedway was a typical short track
race.

The weather, once again, played havoc with the race schedule. After having
an optional practice for two hours Saturday, Sunday's schedule began with a
45 minute practice session. With over fifty cars planning to qualify, the
rain halted qualifying after twenty eight cars had taken their shot at the
pole. After a lengthy rain shower, qualifying was cancelled and the field
was set by car owner points.
