 Junqueira Picks Up First 2005 Victory

Newman/Haas Racing's Bruno Junqueira picked up his first win of the
2005 season, surviving an action-packed race in which only ten drivers
remained to take the checkered flag. Junqueira started in fifth position
and stayed near the front throughout the race, holding on through
numerous cautions to pull away after passing Bjorn Wirdheim in the final
laps.

 Bourdais Makes It 3-for-3 to Start 2006 Season

Sebastien Bourdais continues etching his name deeper into the Champ Car
record book, opening the 2006 season with his third consecutive win as he
attempts to become only the second driver to win three straight season
championships. It also marked the fifth win for Newman/Haas Racing in six
tries at Monterrey.
