The FIA confirmed on May 23rd that the qualifying format will change as from
this coming weekend's European Grand Prix. The current format, one session
on Saturday afternoon and one on Sunday morning has proved unpopular and a
meeting was held in Monaco to discuss a change.

Now the teams, the FIA World Motor Sport Council and the Formula One
Commission have agreed to one qualifying session on Saturday afternoons,
between 1 and 2pm local time.
