 All IndyCar Practice Day 2

Day II Practice at Indy-- Target Chip Ganassi Racing's Scott Dixon
was the fastest of the three team entries on the second day of practice
for the Indianapolis 500 and was ranked third overall on the speed charts
with a recorded 226.816 miles per hour after returning to the Panoz
chassis (No.9 backup car). Teammate Darren Manning spent a limited
amount of time on track today but posted a quick time of 224.245 mph in
his back up no.10 Target Toyota and was 16th overall on the leaderboard.
The no.33 Target Toyota of Ryan Briscoe unfortunately ran over debris
from Buddy Rice's car after an accident early in practice. There
was some damage that forced the car back to the garage for repair for
much of the session but on the positive side, the team saved tires to be
able to run at another time. Tony Kanaan ran the fastest lap of the
practice setting the bar at 227.453 miles per hour.

 TARGET TEAM FASTEST ONCE AGAIN IN DAY 2 PRACTICE FOR INDIANAPOLIS 500

INDY 500 DAY 2 PRACTICE (May 9)-- The second day of practice at
Indianapolis Motor Speedway was delayed a few hours by rain, but
following two hours of on track activity, the Target team once again
emerged the team to beat. For a second straight day, Dan Wheldon set the
fastest lap time of the day, this time after just seven laps, with a
speed of 226.391 mph. Scott Dixon was third with a speed of 224.902 mph.
