It was Harold Primat who set the fastest Creation lap (1:16.490) of the two hour practice session here in Laguna Seca, California, this morning, just before being caught out under braking at Turn 5 and running off the circuit in the closing stages of the session. The mistake was minor and the resulting kiss with the tyre barrier caused only slight cosmetic damage.
