 Podium at Le Mans!

LE MANS. The sixth weekend of the French GT-championship, FFSA-GT for
short, offered up another podium place for SRT. The occasional duo Guino
Kenis and Eric Cayrolle clinched an excellent second place on Saturday and
scored a well deserved ninth place on the Sunday. On the other hand for
Thierry Stepec and Romain Brandella it was a first introduction to the
Corvette C5-R, which resulted in an 18th and 14th place. "The competition
at Le Mans were my first races in this French championship and I even had
the satisfying taste of taking the lead in one of the races.", a contented
Guino Kenis told us. "You can't really expect more than that for a debut.
It was a truly great experience for me, which most probably will be
repeated." After this success the SRT team is staying on in France, where
it will be competing in the last races of the French GT-championship at
Magny-Cours this coming weekend.
