FPAUDI: Luciano Bacheta to make debut in Autumn Trophy

T Cars championship leader Luciano Bacheta is to make his single-seater racing debut next month in the Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Trophy, competing in the two triple-header meetings at Snetterton and Brands Hatch in early November.
Sixteen-year-old Bacheta has been one of the stars of the T Cars series, which is for 14 to 17-year-old racers, taking six victories and currently leads the championship by 10 points from Max Chilton with just one round remaining. The Essex-based youngster has recently tested the 300bhp FPA car at both Bedford Autodrome and Snetterton and claimed the experience gained there helped sway his decision towards competing in the Autumn Trophy. He said: "I think it'll be good to make the move now so that I'm ready for whatever I'm doing next year."
