 Ganus, Lyons, VanZiles, & Glass at the Zoo

Jeff Ganus from Contantine, charged from his 6th place starting spot to
record his first ever Super Late Model feature win, Saturday Night at
Kalamazoo Speedway. Shawn McGlaughlin spun between turns 1 & 2 on the
first lap, with a good portion of the field stacking up behind him. Andy
Bozell suffered extensive damage and had to pit for repairs, and came
back out to salvage a 15th place finish. Phil Massuch finised in the
runner up spot, as his car continues to be one of the fastest cars each
week. Rick Sexton finished 3rd from his 13th place starting spot, with
Jerry Drake and Dan McEndarfer finishing 4th and 5th. Jamie Gritter
captured a career best 6th place finish, with point leader Curt Spalding
finishing in 7th, after starting 19th. John Chapman, Jeff Vochaska, and
Greg Himes rounded out the top 10 spots. Heat race winners were Steve
Needles, McEndarfer, and Massuch, while Brandon Lyons claimed the last
chance race.
