With a light to flag win at the second points' round of the Porsche
Michelin Supercup on the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona (Spain),
Italian Alessandro Zampedri secured his first Supercup victory. Taking up
the 14 lap sprint from pole position Zampedri successfully held off his
team mate Patrick Huisman over the entire distance - albeit at times by
only 0.3 seconds - to take the flag two seconds ahead of the Dutchman.
