Sad, but the IRLs most popular driver and the best female driver to hit
the track in any car can't get enough sponsorship to run in the IRL.

Is the problem with Sarah or is it that no sponsor will sign up for the IRL?

At least Sarah had personality, a racing resume and was competitive in
cars that most of the time were not all that good.

Sarah cut corners. She really should not have been in the IRL when she
was. Being a sprint car driver in now way makes you ready to drive IRL
cars as the forming of the IPS proves. That alone is not enough either.
A year or two in Atlantics would have done her a great deal of good.
Yet she rode the "most popular driver" award for a while without
producing and sooner or later you have to get results. Her results were
pretty poor at best. The car was too loose. The car was too tight.
I'd don't know what happened the car just broke loose. The car just
stepped out on me. With the new safer barriers I doubt even a concrete
company would step up for sponsorship.
