How lame...

Chuck 2 May 2005 01:59:06
Can any Nascar(r) driver talk without becoming a
shill for their sponsors....Jeff names everybody who gave a dime
towards the car and Michael throws in a competely gratuitous
plug for Aaron's. Does this seem professional to you?

By the way, companies such as Aaron's are illegal in my state
due to their predatory practices. We can actually "do the math"
here in the Northeast.

Yeah, Aaron's does prey on low income stupid people that want their toys
today, but pay later. They don't think about interest, but rather how
little they have to pay each month.

I've been wondering why Aaron's, a company large enough to
sponsor a Nascar weekend, was only located in the lowest of
low income areas here and no where else.
Guess I now have the answer.

COOL!

what cool state is that?

I think Aaron's scam company should be banned in all 50 states, along with
all rent-to-own crooks, pawn shops, check cashing places, and anyone else
whose business it is to scam the poor and the desperate.

Send them to the ghettos, then they can stock their shelves with all kinds
of stupid "bling bling" for those hip hop faggots that like to project a
rich image, but really nothing in the bank behind the scenes.

Yes. These guys are in the advertising business. Never forget that.

TV.>

And I'm glad for this. And yes, advertising IS their business. Racing is
their method

Then how come the 3 place formula 1 finishers don't spend 15
minutes naming theirs? And formula 1 is big buck racing including
drivers/winners pay.

You don't see much of it on TV either. Perhaps it would be more popular if
there were more sponsors willing to foot the bill to get it on primetime
regular TV.

Not too get to political here, but you've just described every credit
card company, and the Bush administration.

My answer to the original poster is: yes, professional, traditional, and
respectful to the ones who finance the sport.
