Robbie Loomis has not developed the skill that Ray had for tuning the car all race long so that no matter how it came off the truck, they had a well tuned car by the end of the race. I'd disagree. Barring "one of them racin' deals" and quality pit stops, he tends to finish where he starts. He has 52 poles, 17 of them resulted in a win. 28 of his wins have come from a front row start. Comparing that to the numbers of some other big names, it shows that he's much better at staying up front than he is at getting to the front. Traffic has always seemed to give him problems.
