Damnitalltohell, if the 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo ( or the 2006 Toyota Avalon ) is running a 24 valve DOHC twin fuel injected V-6, then so should the car that shows up on the NASCAR track every weekend, no???

Apparently you're under the impression that NASCAR stands for National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing.

Why? What difference does it make if they do 190 with old engine technology or 190 with new engine technology?
