Minardi had to sit out the practice sessions for the Australian Grand Prix
on Friday and now boss Paul Stoddart is seeking legal action to allow his
team to race. Ferrari is still refusing to give its approval for the Faenza
team to run its 2004 spec cars, which have not been adapted to the 2005
regulations, although the other teams have given their consent.

"Ferrari haven't signed and we won't be running in this session," Stoddart
said prior to the morning practice. Red Bull also did not approve of
Minardi's cars but it and Jordan accepted that they are bound by the
agreement of the previous bosses, given before those teams were taken over.
