RAP17 Pistol

	Ok checked out the RAP-17 pistol and thought it looked good for a back up. Went to their webpage to order one. Low and behold it says the RAP17 are temporarly not being sold. Anyone have any idea why? Also checked my local area (Central Illinois) can't find a shop selling them. Anyone know where I can get one online??? Thanks Rusty

	ok. after e-mailing the company and getting no reply. I spent two days searching the internet on this puppy. This is what I've gathered from different forums. The RAP17 is a paintball marker look like of the Glock17. Glock (which makes real pistols) is claiming the RAP17 is in violation of their copyright. The two companies are trying to work this out. Until then the company that makes the RAP17 has stopped making/selling them until this is resolved. Again this is what I've gathered from posts on different forums. No one from the company has replied yet. So it could be just rumor and someones version of why they are not being sold. Thanks.

This may be what is at issue, but if so, it is unusual. A design patent is different from a utility patent. 	Checked out the webpage and they must have made some kind of agreement. The company is selling the RAP-17 again. Also they are in production on a RAP-40 pistol. But no date given when it will be released.
