Well it's like this. The sport is split. Speedball and Woodsball. Now I love
woodsball but a lot of the kids today like the allure of speedball. Space
guns, hot chicks, bright colored hip gear. Field owners like Speedball
because they can sell a ton of paint. It's two totally different scenes. You
go to a woodsball field and everyone is friendly and having a good time
sharing stories about games and gear. You go to a Speedball field and there
are a bunch of young kids all trying to be cool and insulting each other
trying to impress the bitches. Now I am addicted to paintball so sometimes
I'll go to a indoor speedball field in the winter. I know I don't fit in but
I usually do fairly well. Most woodsballers do well because they don't rely
on just laying tons of paint. On the other hand speedball guys suck in the
woods. I love it and hate when these guys play in the woods. I love it
because they are easy marks. They wear their bright colored jerseys so you
can see them a mile away. When they do see you they are so used to the
closed quarter fields that they give their position away by firing when they
are out of range. Now I hate it because since they are out of their element
and do so poorly they resort to wiping. Now not all wipers are Speedballers
I've seen my share of others wiping too. This really pisses me off. Just a
week ago I had to light up a few kids that continually were wiping. I mean
in the XBOX game Greg Hastings Paintball there is an option to try and wipe
before the ref sees you. I think the creators of the game have a
responsibility discourage cheating. But they are promoting it.
Bull-F-ing-Sht! I will tell you this. I'm not a fan of malicious
overshooting but if I catch anyone wiping I will shoot the hell out of them
even at the risk of being ejected from the field. If you are interested in
a paintball league that specializes in honor come check out the North
American Scenario Paintball League. http://www.naspbl.com And be sure to
check out the forums. I think this league will be more to your liking.

Well sport, You still said the magic words "laying a ton of paint"
Yes indeed, speedball, and youth players are exactly why the field
owners all SOLD out to little kids with Daddys credit
cards--PAINT!!!!!!!

They sell these dorks a case of paint per game!!!!

When I used to play every weekend, a case of paint would last me a
month!!!!

Why shoot 500 balls to hit one guy?

I use skill, I shoot only a couple shots for the kill!

Tell you what, you can have you ultra auto paint spraey, and 50
rounds--I will win!
with 50 rounds apeice, I will win everytime!

My gun is a 1989 Bushmaster S.I. Modified Nelspot. I shoot straight,
and when I drop the trigger on you, its a hit!

he's right... i mean not all speedballers are cheaters & morons but it's
true that 90% of them rely on shooting shitloads of paint to win, instead of
actually aiming.... that's why IMHO speedball sucks....

I've used the Hammerhead on my Mag for over a year. It is the best
barrel I have used.

The first time, Robert said "Here, try this out. Just let me hold onto
your drivers license". I used it during the scenario and bought it at
the end of the scenario. Letting people try it first is Hammerhead's
normal business procedure. How many other companies have that much
faith in their product.

If you see the Hammerhead trailer at one of your events, borrow a
barrel... You'll probably buy it at the end of the day. I'm currently
eye-balling a Phantom 8" Hammerhead..... :)
