I have played in glasses for twenty years and have never had any get broken in a game, except when I threw a pair in disgust after losing a finals game.
Contacts work well. I have used them off and on. If you can wear them I would go that route. This applies to soft lens only. The others suck big time.
Wal-Mart and other places sell anti-fog stuff. The product I used came in a little jar about the size of a 35mm film canister. It was blue and felt soapy. It was pretty effective for cleaning and anti-fog use.
