A lot of this functionality was added recently, so this is not a huge
surprise.
How do you arrive at the list/ranking for a> tournament, or more importantly, I guess, the number at the end of the> row?

It's how many of the teams at the tournament that team "beats" in head
to head comparison. The criteria considered are, in order:

1) Order of finish at most recent series even (if in same section/region)
2) Better head-to-head
3) Power Ranking (unless you hit "switch to RRI")
Also, does it change once the tournament is over (the number), as> in, if I went back and looked at Centex or Stanford, are those numbers> adjusted?

The tables are generated dynamically, so they are always current-day.
Again, great job!

Indeed. Awesome work, Rodney.

Recollection from past conversations with Rodney is that the number at the
end of the row is the number of teams that the current team "beats" in a
pair-wise comparison using the above criteria.

The current tables dont always provide usable tables (see the NE or AC
regional rankings) for seedings since the rankings may not be consistent
with sectional finish. Ultimately, the seeding authority needs to decide
if they want to reward the team which registered the upset at sectionals
or punish the team which was upset -- and that is a wonderful little can
of worms to explore.
