NJ Pickup will be held on Sat 2/26 at 11am Pickup will be held in Buccleuch Park in New Brunswick (directions are below). Typically, we park near the gazebo (in the middle of the park... the roads run in a large loop, so you should be able to find it without too much trouble) and play out by the baseball diamonds.
We had great attendance last week, let's try and do the same! Also, there is fairly competitive open pickup at buccleuch - it starts sometime around noon, in case you have a honey you want to bring along...
There is also an excellent burrito place just down the street - so anybody who wants to go afterwards is in for a treat...
Directions to Buccleuch Park in New Brunswick:
Via NJ Transit: Take the train to the New Brunswick stop on the Northeast Corridor line. The fields are less than 1 mile from there... somebody can certainly pick you up!
From Philly/and south:
Take 95N to Rt 1 (you can get onto Rt 1 in Langhorne, near Sesame Place or stay on 95N all the way in to Princeton)... or, if you are W/N of Philly, take the PA Turnpike East to Rt 1... either way, you want to get to Rt 1 heading North! Then follow directions **from Rt 1 below
From NYC/and north:
Take NJ Turnpike South to Exit 9 New Brunswick/US-1/Rt 18; Follow Rt 18 north... and then follow directions below **from Rt 1, which starts off with a turn onto 18N...
** From Rt 1: Take Rt 18 north into New Brunswick. Get off at the exit for Rt 27 South (towards Princeton). 27 is basically the main road through downtown New Brunswick. After a couple of lights (McDonalds is on the left, the train station is on the right), turn right under the bridge onto Easton Ave. Go for about a mile, and you'll see the park on your right (across the street from St. Peter's Hospital).
