Unless it's not safe to pass within the lane, in which case they are just ensuring their safety.
I'm guessing you're the only one who misses the irony in accusing cyclists of "MFFY" while advocating passing in a potentially lethally dangerous way.

Then either you drive as slow as you ride, you drive in areas with

The third choice _is_ unlikely. But you left out the most likely choice: he's simply better at driving than you are.
Competent drivers really have no problem with this.

Oh, I recognize that. I also recognize that there's a whole range of whiners that complain about each little delay in their lives. And we can't change that.
That's why I don't take you seriously.
For one thing, you won't make such a fool of yourself on Usenet.

Sure you can. Just stop obstructing people; that make the world a

No, Matthew, even if all bicycling stopped forever, you'd continue whining about each little delay in your life. I'm familiar with the personality type.
How _do_ you manage to walk through a crowd? And how _do_ you manage to drive in a city? These activities must make your blood pressure just soar - poor boy!

Be honest, Frank, what he'll actually catch is most likely to be an extra 30 seconds in the next traffic jam
