Brand spankin new Bianchi Pista. I've upgraded the front end to include a brake and cowhorn bars.
Information about this bike:
2004 model, purchased brand new in February 2005. Retails for $649.00 plus tax (Bianchi does not allow these to be mail-ordered) similarly equipped. But that price is for less quality front - end upgrades.
SIZE - 51 cm - but due to the high bottom bracket, I recommend this for someone who usually rides a 52 or 53 or 54. I recommend that if you usually ride a 51, that you take a look at a 49cm pista instead -- unless you've already tried out the 51 and like it. I think that if you usually ride a 55, this will probably be too small for you.
Condtion - this bike is brand new.
Chain doesnt even have dust on it... tires still have new nubs. Went on a test ride of about 60 miles and decided it just wasnt the right size for me.
Whole upgraded front end with the ritchey cowhorn bars, the cane creek lever, brand new cinelli gel handlebar tape and a brane new cable.
Bonus - Spare seatpost I will include a truvativ layback seatpost instead of the stock synchros seatpost at no extra charge. That way if you prefer being a little further back, you can customize your ride without ordering another seatpost.
Upgraded front endParts and labor on the upgraded front end are worth at least $100 if you buy them retail.
Why are you selling? Some potential buyers have asked why I am selling -- the only reason is that I misjudged my sizing on this bike.
It is For Auction on Ebay - but I've made it clear that the bike is for sale elsewhere and the auction will be ended if it sells off-ebay. So, right now it is bidding for under $200. If you want to bid, go ahead. Or, if you want to buy outright, I will listen to all reasonable offers.
