i have an old pinarello frame and i'm trying to get it built up. i have an older shimano 105 crankset that i'd like to use. the frame has an italian threaded BB. does anyone know where i can find an older shimano italian BB? for a 105 double. thanks!

Certainly Harris is not the only place you can get it. Many, many bike shops in the US order from them. The BB should be easily available anywhere else in the world.

They have both Octalink and square taper in Italian thread.
(Any decent lbs should also have no problem getting one of these for you, as they're not uncommon at all.)

Any decent bike shop will have these, square taper in Italian. We do, TA, FSA, shimano, UN-72...
heheh, yeah, i have a problem. i also have an old bianchi with campy nuovo record (6 speed). don't really feel like taking that one apart to scavenge the parts... good point on that campy 8 speed. i may start looking on ebay and such. it would look more "correct" on that frame too...
