Anyone one what if any difference there is between the old Michelin Pro Race and the new Pro2 Race? Can't find anything about he Pro2 Race on the Michelin website.

I don't know but Michelin has been known to change model names with no change to the actual product. The "Pro Race" used to be called the "Axial Pro".

There's actually a small difference between the axial pro and pro race. There's a puncture protection layer in both, but it goes from bead to bead in the axial pro while the newer pro race only has it under the tread. Marginally lighter with perhaps more supple, if less durable sidewalls. Dunno about the pr2.
