Was Ivan Basso Poisoned?

Reported "stomach problems" are unspecified, no mention of fever nor a
virus. Is poisoning the leader a possibility? Think 1911 TdF.

Talk about a lame excuse, how can a leader who is "scientifically"
(and no I'm not saying he is doped) prepared make such a stupid
mistake ?!

Kenny

Sean Kelly put that theory as a likely reason, so he was correct.

Don't you mean: "That might be what was first reported, but now I read
on cyclingnews that it was the eggs for breakfast."

In Italy, there are a whole lot of things that can cause illness that we
aren't even aware of in the states. Cold water. Breezes(*), and lots
of other things

(*) My fiancee`'s parents made me drive across the California central
valley with the windows rolled up in a non-air conditioned car in early
september because they were worried about "air currents" from having the
windows rolled down... I kid you not!

Ciao,

That's old-school bike racer style. I hope you had a hat on too. And
your legs covered. Did you ever see Sean Kelly or Franceso Moser in
shorts (except when racing)? No? Didn't think so.
