Small Giro Dude

J-Lo's Proctologist 13 May 2005 06:21:39
The 8 year old boy in the red hat has to be the smallest dude in the Giro
peloton.

Isn't that the same kid that followed lance in the Nike commercial?
Looks like he upgraded his bike.

If Michael Jackson sees that shot, he'll become a cycling fan.

The fact that Rujano is seated while everyone else is standing surely must
contribute to the distorted impression of his size ...

Is that Laffit Pincay the 3rd?

Today, standing on the podium to receive the climber's jersey, Jose
Rujano was shorter than the podium gals, who were at stage level.

So far, I cannot find more about him than his palmares and birth date
(he's 23 years old). It looks as if Pantani would probably have towered
over him....

That was good. But don't forget that he'd riding in the Giro, which gives
the Pope the divine right to go first. Michael will have to settle for
sloppy seconds.

This is not altogether a bad thing, but can get you slapped when you
try to kiss them.

But it's something Heather's new business franchise will have to take into
account.

There'd have to be a sign that reads, "You must be THIS TALL to buy
coffee..."

Uh, is that small as in fit, or large as in suspension capabilities?
The first would be, of course, "no larger than..." in which case you
would sell no doughnuts, and in the second case, "no smaller than..."
in which case you would have braggarts lined up around the block.

Stewart,

Have no fear my friend. All donuts have been cut around the ring to ensure
the safety of the rider, err, riders.

Perfect. There is a large market for kosher donuts.
