The Larissa Molles Memorial Metric Century will honor a young EC Velo member who was killed by a careless driver Labor Day weekend 2004, and call attention to cycling safety issues.
This fully supported FREE ride features high quality rest stops along the way which offer restrooms for your comfort and nutritious foods to fuel you. Routes are clearly marked and patrolled by SAG vehicles equipped with tools and cellular phones.
This event is *FREE* for all participants, and riders who pre-register will receive a free tee shirt also. Magnets honoring Larissa will be given to participants while supplies last.
There will be three routes available; a 100 km (63.5 miles) route, a 25 mile loop, and an 11 mile Family Fun Ride. There will be a mass start at 9:00 am from South Central High School in Winterville, North Carolina.

From Raleigh: Follow 64 to 264 to Greenville. Turn Right on Hwy 11 South after passing the Hospital. After Sam's Club, turn right at second light onto Forlines Rd. South Central High School is 1 mile on right. From Virginia: Follow I-95 South to exit 138, Hwy 64. Follow 64 to exit 496 (Oak City, Bethel, Greenville) Take Hwy 11 South. Follow above directions to South Central High. From Elizabeth City: Take Hwy 17 South to Williamston. Stay straight onto Hwy 64 and on to Bethel. Turn left on Hwy 11 South. Follow above directions to South Central High School.
