It has achieved near-cult status in the SE Michigan (and adjacent states) region. The course is relatively flat but tough, attrition is a factor, the weather can be nasty, and everyone talks about the race for 2 months after it is over! The course may be modified slightly this year, reducing some of the attrition and increasing the intensity- but I have not ridden it yet to know for sure.
Come up to the www.Quickrelease.com Spring Training Race this coming Sunday, have a go in the crit, then pre-ride the course after the race..
